About Kadunong Subdistrict
Kadunong (กะดุนง) is a subdistrict of Sai Buri District, Pattani. The district office describes a landscape of low plains, seasonally waterlogged ground and settlements on higher land, with the Sai Buri River passing through Moo 1, 5 and 6.
Its eight-village administrative area supports cultivation, livestock and fish cages. The district's account connects the name with a locally named palm, krunong; this is a place-name tradition rather than a confirmed founding date.
Tabing, Tro Bon and Manang Dalam help locate Kadunong within the inland Sai Buri area, with Kapho District adjoining it. Use a specific village or riverside destination when arranging an arrival; the subdistrict map point represents the wider area.
