About Kalai Subdistrict
Kalai (ตำบลกะไหล) is a subdistrict of Takua Thung District, Phang Nga. Provincial fisheries records locate the Sam Chong Tai landing in this tambon, while agricultural records identify Bang Nu and Sam Chong Nuea communities.
The council's public records describe local schools, community activities and a market at its music and culture space. University research also documents former tin-mining land in Kalai, indicating a longer history of changing land use rather than an operating visitor mine.
Use the exact community or landing for a journey. Confirm any market date or community visit directly with the council; older event listings do not guarantee the current programme. Sam Chong landings serve working waterfronts, and the administrative point does not identify a passenger departure or public access entrance.
