About Khao Phra Subdistrict
Khao Phra (เขาพระ) is a subdistrict of Rattaphum District in Songkhla. It is distinct from the many temples, hills and other Thai tambon using the same name.
The local authority describes a mixture of plains and mountainous terrain, with higher ground toward the southern part of its area. Department of Agriculture research also records community plant-resource conservation work in Khao Phra. These activities concern local knowledge and agricultural resources, rather than establishing unrestricted access to forest, farms or a public botanical attraction throughout the tambon.
Plan around the specific village or institution. Mountain-side destinations need their own route and weather checks, while study visits should be arranged with a responsible community or office. Keep the full Rattaphum address when searching maps, and obtain the host's entrance directions rather than using the whole-area pin.
