About Ko Yai Subdistrict
Ko Yai (เกาะใหญ่) is a subdistrict of Krasae Sin District in Songkhla. It represents an administrative lakeside locality, not a generic offshore island destination or a substitute for the entire Songkhla Lake area.
The district agricultural plan identifies Khao Ko Yai within the tambon. Institutional research on local food processing also documents the Ko Yai sweet-shrimp producer group, while the Department of Fisheries records lake resources in the locality. These references place community livelihoods and food production within the broader lake landscape.
For a producer or fishing-community visit, agree on a host and an actual meeting point. Lake journeys, landing places and shoreline activities depend on the chosen operator and conditions. Use current road directions and confirm any boat arrangements directly; a geographic reference point does not identify a pier or establish a regular passenger service.
