About Pa Nan Subdistrict
Pa Nan (ปานัน) is a distinct subdistrict of Mayo District, Pattani. Pado council planning lists two Pa Nan villages, Ban Ba Ngo and Ban Pa Nan, separately from Pado's five villages.
The same document records the merger of Pa Nan's local council functions into Pado SAO in 2004. This concerns local-government service coverage: Pa Nan remains separately identified as a tambon, so the shared authority's seven villages should not all be assigned to either subdistrict.
The authority's wider area combines agricultural lowlands and higher ground, with rice and fruit on lower land and rubber on higher terrain. For an appointment in Pa Nan, include the village name as well as the tambon; the council office and whole service area are not interchangeable destinations.
