About Paka Harang Subdistrict
Paka Harang (ปะกาฮะรัง) is a subdistrict of Mueang Pattani District. Its villages include Ban Cha Nga, beside the Pattani River, and Ban Chue Rae Nibong, where community-development records document a herbal salted-egg producer group.
The provincial public-relations office describes Ban Cha Nga as low ground where high river levels can flood both homes and the village approach. This is a specific local travel consideration, rather than evidence that the whole tambon is always inaccessible. Current rainfall and river notices matter more than a fixed seasonal promise.
Arrange community or producer visits with a named contact and obtain the village number. Check the condition of the final road after heavy rain; historic flood reports describe past events and should not be treated as a live closure notice.
