About Pang Wan Subdistrict
Pang Wan (ปังหวาน) is a subdistrict in Phato District, Chumphon. Its nine villages lie in the hilly inland landscape along Highway 4006, the route linking Lang Suan with Ratchakrut in Ranong.
The local authority describes complex hills with relatively little flat ground, including a plain around Ban Khlong Nek. The Lang Suan River flows west to east through several villages, making the river valley an important part of the tambon's geography.
Pang Wan is an administrative area covering several settlements rather than one riverside attraction. The village name and a specific address are useful when planning a journey from Highway 4006 into the surrounding communities.
