About Talo Krai Thong Subdistrict
Talo Krai Thong (ตะโละไกรทอง) is a subdistrict of Mai Kaen District, Pattani. It was separated from Mai Kaen Subdistrict in the 1990s and remains a distinct administrative area. Named communities include Ban Thale and Ban Bin Ya within the wider tambon.
The local-authority profile describes low-lying land surrounded by waterways, with public canals draining towards the sea through Don Sai. This setting supports cultivation and links village life with drainage and seasonal water levels. The tambon name should not be interpreted as one beach or a single coastal entrance.
