About Thai Chang Subdistrict
Thai Chang (ตำบลท้ายช้าง) is a subdistrict in Mueang Phang Nga District, Phang Nga. The district cultural encyclopedia records Thai Chang's historical role in the town's administrative identity.
Current provincial cultural-office information gives its address at the old provincial hall in Thai Chang. The State Audit Office's own history distinguishes that older Phetkasem Road location from its newer premises in Tham Nam Phut, illustrating the separation between the historic town centre and the later government complex.
Check a public office's current address before travelling rather than assuming all provincial services remain at the old hall. Thai Chang and Tham Nam Phut are separate tambons even where urban settlement is continuous. Use the intended street or institution entrance, as the administrative point does not locate a service counter.
