About The Windmill Viewpoint
The Windmill Viewpoint is the mapped lookout near the wind turbines above the southern end of Samae Beach on Ko Lan. Its location reference is WQ4G+V3C. It is separate from the nearby Flight Radar Viewpoint, which has its own pin farther north.
Confirm the current permitted approach with local island staff before setting out. Temporary road restrictions were reported in August 2026, and published visiting schedules differ. Follow any closures and signs at the approach, and arrange the return journey before visiting late in the day.
