About Wat Khao Puthong Pattaya
Wat Khao Pho Thong (วัดเขาโพธิ์ทอง) is a Buddhist temple in Nong Prue, east of central Pattaya near Mabprachan Reservoir. Its exact map reference is WX98+V9. The English map name is Wat Khao Puthong Pattaya.
A January 2023 report from Innews documents a religious ceremony at this temple and names its principal Buddha image as Phra Phuttha Mi Chai (พระพุทธมีชัย). Temple buildings and devotional sculptures are visible in the exact place photographs.
The map labels the grounds open around the clock, which does not establish staffed hours or unrestricted access to individual halls. Check the current visitor approach and building access locally, especially for a ceremony or a visit after dark.
Dress respectfully, remove shoes where indicated, and leave worshippers space. Ask before photographing ceremonies. Step-free access to particular buildings and a current temple telephone were not confirmed.
