About Wat Nong Oo
Wat Nong Oo, วัดหนองอ้อ, is the commonly used name for the Buddhist monastic residence at 27/7 Central Pattaya Road, Moo 9, in Nong Prue. Pattaya’s 2023 municipal inventory calls it Samnak Song Nong Oo, สำนักสงฆ์หนองอ้อ. This record uses the familiar mapped name without asserting a separate formal temple-registration status.
The reviewed February 2026 photograph shows an elaborately decorated gold-coloured worship hall with red roof tiles and bells along its railing. The site is used for Buddhist worship and community religious activities.
Ask locally which worship areas are open and whether a ceremony affects visiting arrangements. Dress modestly, remove shoes where indicated and give worshippers space. Ask before photographing worship or people. Current visitor hours, an enquiry telephone and a verified step-free route were not established.
Share the exact Central Pattaya Road location when arranging directions; similarly named Nong Oo temples elsewhere in Thailand are different institutions.
