Overview
About International Schools Association of Thailand
The International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) is a non-profit association for international schools, with an office at 39/7 Soi Nichada Thani, Samakee Road, Bang Talat, Pak Kret, Nonthaburi. Established in 1994, it represents member schools in discussions with government and education bodies and supports professional learning, collaboration and school development. Families can use ISAT’s online member-school directory to explore schools by factors such as location, curriculum, boarding and age group, then contact individual schools for admissions and up-to-date details. Educators and schools can use the association website for professional learning, membership information and events. General office enquiries are handled at isat@isat.or.th, 02-960-4101 or 086-667-8317.
For families exploring schools
Use the member-school directory
The official directory supports searches by school name, region, curriculum, boarding, province and age group. Profiles are supplied by member schools, so confirm current places, fees and programmes with the school you are considering.
Understand what membership means
ISAT supports its member-school community. It does not issue school rankings, recommend a best school or act as an accreditation agency; individual schools are responsible for their own accreditation.
For schools and educators
Professional learning and collaboration
ISAT organises learning and networking opportunities and supports communication between member schools. Its committees cover membership and operations, government liaison, professional learning, communication and development, and accreditation and quality-assurance collaboration.
Membership enquiries
The official membership page sets out eligibility and an application process for operational international schools, with Full and Candidate membership classifications. Contact ISAT for the current requirements, application review and fees.
Events and resources
The association website provides an event calendar, activity reports, professional learning information and teacher resources. Check each event for its own venue, registration requirements and participant eligibility.
