About Ruamrudee International School Ratchapruek Campus
Ruamrudee International School Ratchapruek Campus (RISR) opened in 2019 as a separate RIS campus west of Bangkok. Its inclusive Catholic mission welcomes families of different faiths, and its American standards-based curriculum extends from children aged two through high school. This listing describes the Ratchapruek campus at 999 Moo 4, rather than the RIS Minburi or Early Years campuses. Early Years combines a Reggio Emilia approach with the Creative Curriculum. Elementary runs from Kindergarten to Grade 5, Middle School covers Grades 6–8, and High School covers Grades 9–12. The campus offers Advanced Placement courses; the IB directory records its authorization from 14 May 2026, and the school now describes an IB Diploma Programme pathway. English Language Development and Learning Support are considered through the admissions assessment process.
Learning at Ratchapruek
Early Years
Children learn through projects, exploration and creative expression. The dedicated Early Years pod has classrooms, a shared community area, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a soft-play motor room and a pool designed for young learners.
Elementary and Middle School
American core standards build progressively across subjects. Middle School combines integrated learning with an advisory programme covering academic habits, social wellbeing, global perspectives and career exploration.
High School
Grades 9–12 combine core subjects with arts, languages, technology and other electives, plus AP options and the IB Diploma pathway. The published high school diploma requires 36 credits. University counselling, leadership, clubs, sport and community engagement complement classroom study.

A submitted application does not guarantee a place.
Assessment and support
Admissions arranges assessment after the application and documents are complete. Pre-K 2–Grade 1 applicants have developmental observation and a parent interview. English-language and learning-support needs are assessed individually; discuss suitability and any additional charges before enrolling.
