About Shrine of the Goddess of Life

The Shrine of the Goddess of Life is known in Thai as ศาลเจ้าแม่ชีวิต, Chao Mae Chiwit Shrine. It stands in Ko Lan’s Na Baan area near the village pier and is part of the island’s religious culture. A Chulalongkorn University landscape study identifies it among Ko Lan’s community shrines; a June 2026 local report records people paying respects there. Allow worshippers room to pray and follow signs about shoes, animals and photography. If using the shrine as a meeting point after arriving by boat, agree the exact side or steps with your host. Check access locally rather than relying on a round-the-clock map label.
