Overview
About Tharnpanya School
Tharnpanya School (โรงเรียนฐานปัญญา) serves children from nursery age through the end of upper secondary education at M6. Its Bang Wa campus is at 45/597 Kanlapaphruek Road in Phasi Charoen. The official school website links a newer online-services portal with programme information and 2027admissions documents. Families can compare language and subject emphasis as children progress. Nursery entry starts from age two; kindergarten offers IEP and a Bright Start English option at K1. Primary and secondary choices are described separately, so ask which programme is available for the intended year group.
Comparing programme pathways
Primary language choices
The portal lists Bilingual Program, Competency Chinese Program and English Program routes. Its primary overview distinguishes 10, 14 and 20 weekly lessons with foreign, Chinese or native-English-speaking teachers respectively. Confirm the current subject allocation and grade availability with Academic Affairs.
Secondary specialisms
Lower-secondary options emphasise science, Chinese or English bilingual study. Upper-secondary choices include science–mathematics, arts and calculation, Chinese/Japanese languages, bilingual study, music and sport. Admission requirements and current places depend on the route.
Practical learning
An independent 2023 school visit documented STEAM projects, including a P5 wind-powered glider activity that combined designing, measuring and testing. The visit also described kindergarten language activities and keyboard practice. These are examples from that visit, not a current weekly timetable.
Arts and school services
Music facilities
The 2023 visit described the Grosso Music building with rehearsal and recording rooms and instruments for specialist study. The current portal also lists marching-band, Thai and Western music, arts, robotics and coding activities. Ask about the options open to the child’s age group.
School transport
The school advertises pupil van services for Bang Khae, Phasi Charoen and nearby areas. Routes and charges are handled by Administration; confirm whether your address is served and how pickup arrangements work.

-
02
Check the applicable charges
The nursery information lists THB 5,000 monthly tuition including lunch, snacks and learning equipment, plus separate accident-insurance and clothing charges. Fees for other stages and the current-year applicability of nursery amounts should be confirmed with Administration.
-
03
