Overview

About WASANA FISHING PARK

Wasana Fishing Park is a day-ticket catch-and-release fishery in the Nong Hin / Thung Klom–Tan Man area east of Pattaya. The operator describes a stocked collection of around 40 Thai and imported species, including Siamese carp, arapaima, Mekong catfish and Amazon redtail catfish. It caters for both beginners and experienced anglers and does not provide guest accommodation. Rod packages include equipment and bait, while the premium option adds a dedicated guide. Family members and non-fishing companions are listed as free of charge. The supplied rods are reserved for the angler who books them, and under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Call 087 870 6218 before travelling: the operator’s Google Maps link leads to this Nong Hin 5 profile, but the GPS text on its website points to the nearby separately named Wasana Family Lake. Confirm which entrance and lake your booking uses. The site advertises Monday–Saturday fishing, 08:30–18:30, with Sunday closed.

Packages and booking

Three-rod package

The operator’s price list observed on 22 October 2026 shows THB 4,000 per angler per day, with carp or predator rods, 8 kg of ground bait, bread and a predator-bait pack. Confirm the current inclusions before paying.

Premium guided package

The displayed THB 5,900 daily package, observed on 22 October 2026, includes four rods, a personal guide, selected baits, two fans and an icebox. Ask about availability and the allocated fishing peg.

Fish welfare and tackle rules

Catch and release only

Fish must stay on the premises. Use barbless hooks; treble hooks, multi-hook rigs and wire traces are prohibited. Do not leave baited rods unattended.

Handling larger fish

Fish over 12 kg must remain in the water. Use the designated area for unhooking and photographs; smaller fish must be handled with the supplied net or sling and unhooking mat, then returned gently.

Use of supplied reels

Ask for a baitrunner demonstration if unfamiliar with the equipment. The operator warns that an unrecoverable rod lost through incorrect use can incur replacement costs.
