A documented example of practical learning
Growing food in limited space
The October 2023 school visit describes salad vegetables planted along balconies and mushrooms grown indoors. Pupils helped grow and care for the produce, connecting classroom learning with practical food-growing skills.
School lunches and community links
The same report says produce was used in school lunches and surplus was sold to parents. It also describes support from nearby Wat Bang Khanun for additional mushroom-growing space. Ask the school which activities continue for the current year.
