About Ba-Ngoi Subdistrict

Ba-Ngoi (บาโงย) is a subdistrict in Raman District, Yala. The name is connected with a low hill or raised ground, and Ban Ba-Ngoi in Moo 4 is a community within the wider tambon. It is separate from Ba-Ngoi Sinae Subdistrict in Yaha District.

The locality combines village settlements with rubber and rice-growing land. The Anthropology Centre documents farmers developing Riceberry cultivation and vegetables under protective netting as ways to diversify income. Connections with the Kota Baru area are part of its local trading history, while other communities and agricultural plots extend beyond the named village.

Arrange an agricultural learning visit directly with the relevant group or household. Confirm what is available in the current growing season rather than assuming a daily demonstration or market. The local authority notes that smaller village roads can become muddy in wet weather, so obtain directions to the actual farm or meeting point and check the final approach before departure.
