About Bahoi Subdistrict
Bahoi (บาโหย) is a subdistrict of Saba Yoi District in Songkhla. The district agricultural office lists five villages in the tambon.
Bahoi has a particular place in local administrative history. Prince of Songkla University's southern information archive records that the early Bahoi minor-district office was located in Village 1 before the administrative centre moved to the settlement now called Saba Yoi.
The wider subdistrict has an agricultural economy. Government planning records identify a Bahoi durian-growing group, while local institutional descriptions place Bahoi within the Thepha River's inland catchment. The historical office location and present farming villages are individual parts of this wider administrative area.
