About Ban Khao Subdistrict
Ban Khao (บ้านขาว) is a subdistrict of Ranot District in Songkhla. It is distinct from the same-named tambon in Udon Thani and from a single village or workshop using the Ban Khao name.
The Community Development Department records local learning and enterprise activity in beadwork, krajood weaving and tie-dyed cloth. The Nora beadwork learning centre in Village 3 is also identified in a September 2026 Royal Irrigation Department account of a hands-on community-learning event. These are specific local organisations within the wider administrative area.
Contact the relevant maker or learning centre to arrange demonstrations and confirm the venue. Workshops follow their own programmes and should not be assumed open at all times. Ask before handling tools or photographing production, and use the actual village address instead of the tambon's geographic reference point.
