About Ban Khuan Subdistrict
Ban Khuan (บ้านควน) is a subdistrict south of the Lang Suan district-centre area in Chumphon. Its boundaries meet Pho Daeng, Khan Ngoen and Tha Maphla to the north, with communities of Lamae and Phato districts on other sides.
The local authority describes agriculture as the main source of livelihood, including fruit growing, rubber, oil palm and livestock. Agricultural processing and produce trading also appear in its economic profile.
Ban Khuan is a wider rural administrative area, distinct from same-name tambons in Trang and Satun. A village address or the name of a particular farm, cooperative or institution is more useful for a specific enquiry than the general subdistrict map reference.
