About Ban Song Subdistrict
Ban Song (ตำบลบ้านส้อง) is a subdistrict in Wiang Sa District, Surat Thani. The council describes predominantly higher land with a mountain range along its eastern side.
The 2026 agricultural framework records eighteen villages and two municipal jurisdictions. Ban Song Municipality covers fifteen villages in full and parts of others, so municipal statistics should not be applied automatically to the entire tambon. Named communities in the council profile include Phru Krachaeng, Thung Khao Khok, Na Neng and Maharaj.
