About Chalung Subdistrict
Chalung (ฉลุง), administrative code 901108, belongs to Hat Yai District, Songkhla. The Land Development Department places it on the western side of the district and describes a landscape ranging from gently undulating ground to steep western terrain within Ton Nga Chang Wildlife Sanctuary. The education-area register independently identifies the local Chalung school in Hat Yai. This tambon is distinct from Chalung in Mueang Satun, despite the identical Thai and English names.
Include Hat Yai District and Songkhla when checking an address. Village destinations and protected forest require different final approaches; use host directions or the relevant managed entrance. The administrative centre point does not itself identify sanctuary access or a school entrance.
