About Charang Subdistrict

Charang (จะรัง), code 940917, is an administrative subdistrict of Yaring District in Pattani. The official local profile describes mostly low-lying land with loam soils used for housing and agriculture. The subdistrict authority identifies its premises in village 6. The English spellings Charang and Jarang refer to this locality; they should not be confused with Yarang, the separate neighbouring district whose Thai name is ยะรัง.

Include Yaring District and the village or institution name in a destination address. The general Charang reference point is useful for locating the tambon but does not identify the council office or a specific farm entrance. Confirm the final approach with the host when a local address gives only a village number.
