About Chong Thanon Subdistrict

Chong Thanon (ตำบลจองถนน) is a subdistrict in Khao Chaison District, Phatthalung. A Community Organizations Development Institute study describes land descending eastward towards Songkhla Lake, giving the area a lakeshore rather than open-sea setting.

The same community study records local settlement knowledge and lowland livelihoods. Cooperative Promotion Department records identify a rice-farming group in village 2. These sources describe an inhabited agricultural and lakeside administrative area rather than one beach or waterfront attraction.

Use the village and destination name for journeys along the lake side. Ask a local host about the appropriate approach and conditions after heavy rain. Do not treat proposed transport projects or the tambon's geographic reference point as a confirmed operating route, pier or visitor entrance.
