About Hong Islands

The main Ko Hong island is associated with Than Bok Khorani National Park and is known for its lagoon, viewpoint and nature trail. Boat itineraries may combine it with Lao Lading, Pak Bia and other nearby islands. The group spans islands administered in different subdistricts, so Mueang Krabi District is the shared parent. This is the Krabi Hong group, not a same-named island elsewhere in Phang Nga Bay.

Ask an operator to identify every island, permitted landing and activity in the itinerary. A trip advertised as Hong Islands may include several separate stops, while access to the lagoon and water activities depends on tide, sea conditions and park rules. Confirm entry arrangements and current conservation restrictions before departure. Use designated routes on the main island and avoid touching coral or disturbing wildlife during snorkelling and kayaking.
