About I Pan Subdistrict
I Pan (ตำบลอิปัน) is a subdistrict in Phrasaeng District, Surat Thani. The council describes a mixture of low river land and rolling higher ground, with clay and lateritic soils.
Rubber, oil palm and some field crops are suited to this terrain. The council identifies Sin Pun to the south, Thung Luang in Wiang Sa District to the east, and Sai Khueng and Sakhu to the west. It also records a commemorative forest area as one particular natural resource within the wider tambon.
Use a specific village, farm or council-office address for a visit. I Pan is also the name of a waterway crossing several tambons, so the channel name alone is insufficient for directions. Agricultural land and commemorative forest access require local confirmation.
