About Kalupang Subdistrict

Kalupang (กาลูปัง) is a subdistrict of Raman District in Yala, west of the district centre along the Highway 4060 corridor. Its four administrative villages are Bue Nae Baru, Kalupang, Baluka and Le Su. Noen Ngam lies to the north and Yata to the south.

Much of the landscape is plain suited to rice and rubber growing, with low hills in the eastern part. Durian and longkong are among the established orchard crops. Watercourses including Khlong Ban Po, Khlong Wala Si and Khlong Marue Bo, together with ponds and irrigation weirs, support the farming area.

Roadside shops and village centres provide different arrival points, so specify the community or host when arranging transport. The local plan records flooding in some low-lying villages during wet periods; check current road conditions before a countryside visit. Obtain permission for farms and private plots, and use a confirmed entrance rather than the whole-subdistrict map reference.
