About Kantang Subdistrict
Kantang (กันตัง), administrative code 920201, is the namesake subdistrict within the larger Kantang District of Trang. Tourism Authority of Thailand information locates the historic railway station on Na Khai Road in the town municipality and describes its single-storey wooden architecture. The district public-health history explains the importance of the Trang River and port to settlement and trade. The urban tambon is separate from neighbouring Kantang Tai and the wider district.
Choose the station, museum, street or river-side destination for the final approach. Check current trains with the railway operator rather than inferring a timetable from heritage information. The administrative marker is not the railway platform, port gate or a boat departure point.
