About Khao Chiak Subdistrict
Khao Chiak (เขาเจียก), code 930103, is an administrative subdistrict of Mueang Phatthalung. The national natural-environment inventory describes its namesake hill and the conversion of an old quarry setting into landscaped recreation space. The cultural-environment inventory separately records Wat Khao Chiak and the cave with a reclining Buddha image. These are individual features within the wider inhabited tambon, not substitutes for its administrative extent.
Choose the hill park, temple or cave as the specific destination and confirm current local access for that feature. Do not use a general tambon centre as an assumed cave entrance or climbing route. The administrative marker is distinct from the managed public recreation grounds.
