About Khao Yai Subdistrict
Khao Yai (เขาใหญ่) belongs to Ao Luek District, Krabi, distinct from Khao Yai National Park in northeastern and central Thailand. The 2026 district agricultural framework lists Khao Lom among its village communities. Royal Forest Department records also identify community-forest localities at Khao Lom, Nai Yuan Thai and Thung Sung. National environmental documentation includes mangrove land within this tambon, so inland community forests and coastal habitats are separate parts of its geography.
Specify Ao Luek, Krabi and the village when planning a route. Forest and mangrove references do not establish public trails or unrestricted access; arrange any community visit with a host. The administrative reference coordinate is separate from a forest entrance, school or authority office.
