About Khlong Chaloem Subdistrict
Khlong Chaloem (ตำบลคลองเฉลิม) is a subdistrict in Kong Ra District, Phatthalung. Its landscape is associated with the forested Banthat foothills and communities near their waterways.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sport locates Prai Wan Waterfall in Khlong Chaloem and associates it with the Khao Banthat Wildlife Sanctuary. The waterfall is a separate natural site within the wider tambon. Geological hazard records also identify the waterfall community in historic flash-flood and landslide documentation, which is relevant to planning around heavy rain.
Check current sanctuary notices, weather and local access before a waterfall trip. Use the confirmed entrance and follow staff guidance around streams and slippery ground. This tambon's reference point is not the waterfall entrance, and historic hazard records are not a live closure notice.
