About Khok Pho Subdistrict
Khok Pho (โคกโพธิ์), administrative code 940201, is the namesake subdistrict within the larger Khok Pho District in Pattani. Prince of Songkla University records the movement of the district headquarters to the Khuan Bu area near the railway following preparations for King Rama VII to observe the 1929 solar eclipse. The administrative tambon, district headquarters and railway-related locations are distinct entities despite sharing the Khok Pho name.
Include the particular office, road or village when planning a journey. A reference to Khok Pho District may concern another tambon entirely. For historical locations, confirm the exact public site rather than using the general administrative marker, which is not the entrance to a railway station or government compound.
