About Khuan Pho Subdistrict
Khuan Pho (ควนโพธิ์), administrative code 910111, belongs to Mueang Satun District. The national anthropology centre documents Ban Khuan Pho and its rice-growing heritage, including the local Alham rice variety. Its community account describes settlement on raised ground around places such as Tham Pae, Tha Huai Ton Phut, Ko Pleo and Ban Na, and the influence of irrigation on farming. Royal Irrigation Department reporting also identifies water-management work in village 4.
For a farming or community visit, identify the named village and arrange a meeting with the host. Agricultural and irrigation sites are working environments. The geographic reference centre is separate from a rice field, community learning site or local-authority premises.
