About Khuan Sato Subdistrict
Khuan Sato (ควนสตอ), code 910202, belongs to Khuan Don District in Satun. The Land Development Department places it south of the district centre, adjoining Ketri to the south and Wang Prachan to the east. It describes flat and gently undulating land in the west, with steeper eastern terrain within Thale Ban National Park. Named villages include To Sa, Kubang Palot, Khuan Ya Wa, Ban Klang and Khuan Sato.
Choose the village or specific managed park entrance before travelling. The administrative boundary and national-park boundary are different, and a village address does not establish access to protected forest. The map reference centre is separate from a park gate, school or local-authority office.
