Ko Chabang, also written Ko Cha Bang, is a small physical islet in the Adang–Rawi archipelago west of Ko Lipe. Its identity is separate from the underwater Jabang Channel visited on snorkelling excursions. The island and the marine site should not be treated as interchangeable destinations.
Setting and highlights
The islet belongs to Ko Sarai in Mueang Satun District. Its setting makes it relevant to a boat-based exploration of the Adang–Rawi islands rather than a mainland beach visit.
Getting there
Arrange any approach with a local boat operator based on Ko Lipe and specify the island or the channel when discussing your route. A feature-location map pin does not identify a landing place or a safe water-entry point.
Planning your visit
Confirm which stops are permitted and whether landing is part of the trip. Current landing arrangements, facilities and island-specific hours have not been established; avoid treating the islet as an equipped beach resort.
