Ko Chula

Ko Chula is a small physical island off the Laem Sing coast of Chanthaburi. The marine-resources inventory places it in Bang Kachai Subdistrict, Laem Sing District. It lies east of Ko Nom Sao and is also labelled Kite Island on some maps. Pak Nam Laem Sing Municipality describes the island as approximately one kilometre offshore, with local hire boats used for relaxing, fishing and viewing the surrounding coral. Its account connects the name with the local Kaeo Na Ma and Phra Pin Thong story; this is folklore associated with the name rather than a verified historical event. The municipality states that the island has no accommodation or restaurants.
