Confirm the permitted boat route and landingAbout Ko Hin Son
Ko Hin Son is a small rocky island in the outer Adang–Rawi group. Its conspicuous landmark is a large block-shaped boulder balanced above another rock, giving the island its recognisable stacked-stone outline. It is a natural coastal feature, not a commercial attraction or a resort.
Setting and highlights
The surrounding area forms part of the more exposed outer-island route from Ko Lipe, often considered together with Ko Dong. Its appeal is the rock formation and the marine scenery rather than a long beach walk.
Getting there
Ask a Ko Lipe boat operator specifically about the outer route and the stops open on your travel date. Photograph the formation from the boat at a safe distance; do not assume that climbing or landing on the rocks is permitted.
Planning your visit
The crossing and any snorkelling stop depend on wind, waves and currents. Arrange equipment and assistance before departure and check the current Tarutao notice. No fixed island opening schedule or current visitor-facility inventory is confirmed.
