About Ko Khai Nok

Ko Khai Nok lies in Phru Nai Subdistrict of Ko Yao District, Phang Nga, despite the many excursions that depart from Phuket. It is one of three similarly named Khai islands; Khai Nai and Khai Nui are separate places.

Setting and highlights

A crescent of pale sand and shallow coastal water make the island a familiar beach and snorkelling stop. Its compact scale suits a boat excursion rather than exploration of an island town. Keep coral and marine animals undisturbed.

Getting there

Check your boat itinerary for the name Khai Nok, because tours may visit only some of the Khai group. Arrange transfers and the return meeting point with the operator, and follow instructions about designated swimming areas and moving boats.

Planning your visit

Conditions, visitor charges and available services can vary by trip and season. Confirm what the operator supplies, bring drinking water and sun protection, and take rubbish back. Do not feed fish or stand on coral when entering the water.
