About Ko Khai Nui

Ko Khai Nui is one of the three Khai islands in Phru Nai Subdistrict, Ko Yao District. It belongs to Phang Nga even though many excursions depart from Phuket. Ko Khai Nai and Ko Khai Nok are separate islands, not alternative names for Nui.

Setting and highlights

The group is associated with small-boat excursions in the waters between Phuket and Ko Yao Yai. For Nui, establish whether the advertised stop is for water activities, offshore viewing or a permitted landing; the larger islands’ beach facilities should not be assumed here.

Getting there

Choose a boat itinerary that names Ko Khai Nui and confirm the departure pier. Ask the operator which island is used for breaks or meals, because a general three-island trip may distribute activities between different stops.

Planning your visit

Conditions and permission determine the actual visit. No fixed opening hours, current admission tariff, accessibility provision or shore-facility inventory is confirmed for Nui. Avoid applying the beaches, shops or other facilities of Khai Nai or Khai Nok to this small island.
