Ko Matsum (Pig Island)

Ko Matsum is a physical island south of Ko Samui in Taling Ngam Subdistrict. English spellings include Ko Madsum and Ko Mat Sum. Its popular Pig Island nickname refers to the pigs associated with the beach, rather than a separate geographic island. The beach is the focus of short visits. The two islands are distinct stops, so check what an advertised itinerary actually includes rather than assuming every Pig Island tour visits both.
