About Ko Ngai

Ko Ngai is an island in Ko Lanta Yai Subdistrict, Ko Lanta District, Krabi Province, within Mu Ko Lanta National Park. Although frequently included in Trang travel itineraries, its administrative location is in Krabi. The long beach on the eastern side faces offshore limestone islands, with shallow coral areas close to shore.

The island suits a beach stay or a snorkelling stop rather than a road-based sightseeing circuit. Boat itineraries often link it with Ko Muk, Ko Kradan and other islands on the Trang coast. Confirm the exact departure pier and whether the transfer lands directly at your accommodation or another beach landing; boats and connections vary by season.

Smaller islands in this park are subject to seasonal conservation closures and weather-related restrictions. Check current national-park notices and the return boat before committing to a visit. Snorkel only where conditions and local guidance allow, leave coral untouched and allow extra time if your onward journey depends on a sea transfer.
