Plan your visit
Treat access as an arranged marine outing, not a visit to the mainland national-park office. Confirm with the park and local boat operator whether landing or only offshore viewing is permitted on the intended day. Do not assume that the visitor facilities advertised for the Lao Liang islands exist on Phetra. Bird-nesting and other protected areas may have site-specific restrictions.
