About Ko Racha Noi
Ko Racha Noi, also known as Raya Noi, is the southern of the two principal Racha islands off Phuket. It belongs to Rawai Subdistrict in Mueang Phuket District and is geographically separate from Ko Racha Yai to the north. Unlike the better-developed Yai island, its visitor identity centres on offshore diving rather than a resort settlement.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand specifically describes Racha Noi's diving as appropriate for professional or experienced divers. Treat that distinction seriously when choosing a trip: a boat calling at Racha Noi does not imply that every dive site or condition is suitable for a beginner. The actual site should be selected by qualified staff according to conditions and the group's ability.
Confirm the exact itinerary, qualifications required, equipment and return pier before departure. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, so choose a trip for its actual route and dive plan. Sea conditions can change the route; follow the operator's safety decisions and do not assume that a scheduled dive trip includes a beach landing.
