About this place
Rawi and Adang are neighbouring islands within the same protected island group, rather than two names for one place. Rawi has sandy bays on its northern and southern coasts and a largely natural interior. Hat Sai Khao is one of the specific coastal areas identified in park access notices.

The Adang-Rawi Archipelago is the western island group of the Tarutao marine area, combining forested Adang and Rawi with the visitor hub of Ko Lipe.
Plan your visit
Arrange a boat trip through the Ko Lipe or Pak Bara area and confirm the exact permitted landing site. The 2026 closure of Hat Sai Khao ran from June to September; current access still needs checking with the park and operator. Take provisions appropriate to a boat excursion and do not assume the facilities or accommodation on Ko Adang are also present on Rawi.
