Ko Samae San

Ko Samae San is the physical island south of the mainland community of Samae San in Sattahip District, Chon Buri. It belongs to Samae San Subdistrict but is not the subdistrict itself. The Royal Thai Navy manages conservation and visitor activity in this island area. Navy conservation reporting identifies Hat Thian, Hat Luk Lom, Hat Toei and botanical conservation work on the island. Its role combines beach and marine visits with the protection of island ecosystems. The Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum is on the mainland at Khao Ma Cho, so do not confuse the museum's location with the island's map point.
