About Ko Talabeng

Ko Talabeng, also written Ko Ta La Beng, is a limestone island in Ko Lanta Noi Subdistrict. It lies in the eastern Lanta seascape and is separate from Ko Lanta Noi itself and from the mainland administrative units.

Setting and highlights

Cliffs, coastal openings and small beaches give the island its character. It is known for boat-and-kayak excursions, where the route around the limestone formations matters more than a conventional beach-resort visit.

Getting there

Local excursions link the Lanta islands’ departure points with the marine setting around Talabeng. Confirm the actual pickup point, boat transfer, kayaking component and return arrangements, rather than assuming the map pin identifies a passenger pier.

Planning your visit

Sea-cave access depends on the tide, waves and the guide’s assessment. Use an operator able to explain the route and safety equipment. Current landing permissions, facilities, fees and overnight availability are not established here.
