Ko Yang is a small island in Ko Sarai Subdistrict in Satun’s Adang–Rawi archipelago. The name Ko Kata is also used for this same feature. It sits west of Ko Adang, separate from similarly named islands in other provinces.
Setting and highlights
Ko Yang is associated with the inner-island boat and snorkelling circuit from Ko Lipe. The surrounding marine environment is the main visitor interest; a map label for a nearby dive site should not be confused with the island’s exact location.
Getting there
Ask your Ko Lipe operator whether the day’s inner-island route includes Ko Yang and which reef or shore stop is planned. Travel time and the order of stops depend on the boat route and daily sea conditions.
Planning your visit
Follow the guide’s choice of water-entry area and remain clear of coral. Confirm current Tarutao access restrictions and what equipment the trip supplies. Opening hours, shore facilities and a specific landing entrance are not independently established.
