About Ko Yao Noi Subdistrict
Ko Yao Noi (ตำบลเกาะยาวน้อย) is a subdistrict in Ko Yao District, Phang Nga. Its local administration describes hills running along the island and smaller coastal and valley plains.
Rubber, coconut and cashew gardens feature in the council profile, alongside small-scale fisheries around the coast. Communities include Thung, Ban Yai, Nam Chuet, Tha Khao, Rim Thale and Laem Yang. Provincial fisheries records identify Tha Khao landing, while forestry records also include An Pao in the local community network.
Choose the exact village, landing or accommodation before travelling. This administrative area contains several communities, rather than one arrival point. Confirm boat operations and weather with the operator and arrange farm or community visits with local hosts; the representative point is not a pier.
